Field Trip Information Lake Mead National Recreation Area would like to invite you and your students to experience our programs this year!. Move the classroom out-of-doors and spend a morning exploring the Mojave Desert with a ranger. Due to the high demand for our programs, priority for scheduling is given to teachers who have completed our 16 hour teacher workshop, though we will take reservations on a first-come, first-served basis for those that have not taken the workshop. We send a field trip reservation packet to each grade level chair at the beginning of the school year.
