US History Teachers and Civil War History buffs Don't miss this unique learning experience for students! Nevada Civil War History Association and the Friends of the Fort have teamed up to present a Civil War Venture Camp at the Old Las Vegas Fort State Historic Park on Saturday, May 24th and Sunday, May 25th, 2008.  The program is open to the first 40 7th and 11th grade US history students who "enlist."  The cost for the weedend is $45.00 per person.  This is an overnight program.  Tents, uniforms, black powder and meals will be provided.
